The Country's Future is on the Children's Hand

The main reason that DepEd took part in celbrating this is to also acknowledge the rights of children and also because of the students, to celebrate the success and protect children. It also intensify out public awareness and the society to know that a child can become well developed. It is also in connection to R.A. No. 10661.

All children have rights. We just to somehow let society acknowledge our rights because sometimes they forget that we are also like them. I think this celebration will let people know that we are also human like them because society sometimes think that we are just some robots that will follow what they want us to do. Until sometime when you become successful they will praise you but in the process they were insulting and pressuring you. They have to remember that they were once a child too.

This also applies to what Dr. Jose Rizal said, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan". We are the country's asset for the future. They said that this celebration promotes a child- friendly and child-sensitive environment for us to become successful for the future and for our country.

This is My Dream

Ever since I was a child, I always liked things related to science (explains why I'm in the science class). I dreamed of becoming a nurse just like my aunt and grandmother. My father also took up this course, sadly, he died before he can even work as a nurse. So, I've always wanted to become a nurse. They are my inspirations on pursuing my dream, especially my dad. I told myself that I will pursue it for him.              When I was a child, I always liked helping people. Just like my aunt (I call her mama because she took care of me) whenever there are people in our community that will ask for her help as a nurse I will always be there a her assistant. And now that I'm all grown up whenever my grandmother needs help on getting her BP and Sugar Level I always help her(we have equipments at home).              Now, that I'm in 10th grade my decision is final I will b...

Am I Ready Yet?

Time comes by so fast it feels like I was just in 7th grade yesterday and now I'm in 10th grade. I am now moving up to senior high school. I don't know if I'm ready yet. I am not ready to say goodbye to my friends yet. We may still study in the same school but we will have less time to hangout not like junior high. I'm part excited and part scared. I don't know what will happen next. I will also definitely miss my classmates and teachers. They will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget about them because they became a part of me.           To my classmates and friends, this goodbye is bitter-sweet. Thank you for the laugh and times. I hope that we all become what we want in the future. Always remember your high school friends. They say that high school friends are the best! Without you guys I will not enjoy junior high school. We always had each others back.            To...

It has been visited by tourists from the different parts of the world and sometimes they come back because they miss it. The good food you can try and the hospitality of Ilocanos. Now that we all know that Ilocos Sur has a lot of beauty and uniqueness, have you ever wondered how Ilocanos celebrate these?            We celebrate it for about two(2) weeks. This year, the different activities started on January 28 and lasted until the 9th of February. However, we always formally open it on February 2 as a way of remembering the Royal Decree that separated Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte. This celebration is called the Kannawidan Festival. Kannawidan was derived from the word " tawid " which, in English, Literally means inheritance. Ilocos Norte also has a celebration that is like this but they call it the Pamulinaw...
